Home Body Counseling Approach
Not everyone’s life or healing fits into a weekly therapy model. As a somatic therapist, I specialize in trauma-focused, somatic-based therapies designed for busy, high-functioning adults who want deeper, lasting healing from accumulated stress, anxiety, and trauma that years of other therapies have not provided. Through somatic therapy and intensives, my clients have the flexibility to receive therapeutic support in a way that fits their needs.
I’m Sarah Shelton, A Somatic Therapist
I understand juggling limited time and a desire for growth beyond anxiety/trauma.
Having walked my own path through trauma healing and recovery, I’ve felt firsthand the struggles of being stuck, highly anxious, and burned out despite doing all the “right” things and going to therapy for years.
I, too, found myself searching for something beyond talk therapy. I discovered the profound power of somatic therapies like Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and Brainspotting, which not only transformed my life but also became the foundation of my practice.
Through specialized training and countless client stories, I’ve devoted myself to helping high-achieving adults with chronic stress, anxiety, and trauma find their way back to feeling at ease and present in their lives and relationships.
Outside of my practice, I love hiking, growing indoor house plants, live music, yoga, and spending time with loved ones. If you’re ready for a more intentional, embodied, and supportive way of healing, I am down to be your somatic therapist. Let’s take this next step together.
